Congratulations to our students who participated in this year's Washington Academy Model United Nations conference. They brought home the "Best Delegation" award. The following students also won the Best Delegation of the General Assembly: Francesco Melone, Diego Añez, Diego Fernandez Ana Cristina Finol, Isabella Garcia-Ramos and Virgilio Avila. "Honorable Mention" was given to Alejandro Kochen Edgar Pocaterra, Luisa Sanabria, Francesco Melone, Alejandro Sacchini and Daniela Huen. "Best Delegate" was awarded to Pedro Tenreiro, Gustavo Feo and Teunis Egui. We are very proud of this feat. Many thanks to Ms. Mercedes for guiding our students.

Visit from Baruta's firefighters and rescue team -- posted on Tuesday, January 31, 2012
Our preschoolers had the opportunity to listen to firefighters and rescue workers from Baruta County. They also were able to try some rescue operations and board a fire truck. Many thanks go out to Mr. Manuel Tangir, who so kindly made this possible.

Our high school computer lab has just been equipped with new computers thanks to the PTA's sponsorship. This will provide instructional support not only for computer classes but others as well.
